Service Organizations

Le Bon Vivant Parish Activity Committee:
A fair is held on November 6 - 7th, 2009 under the direction of the Fair Committee. It is a major fund-raising activity for capital improvements for the church and school. Le Bon Vivant Festival is an opportunity for the community to come together for a good time, great food, fun rides and exciting entertainment.

Knights of Columbus Immaculata Council:
A Catholic fraternal service organization for men who upholds Catholic traditional values. They provide service to the church, community, parish council, families and youth.

K C Auxiliary:
A Catholic organization of women who supports the Knights of Columbus. They participate in a wide range of parish activities and take up community causes.

Saint Vincent de Paul Society:
A service organization of parishioners who assists those in need. They provide materials, assistance and referrals to families and individuals in the parish.

Servants of Bethany:
A volunteer group of the Immaculate Conception Community who comes together to comfort those families who have suffered the death of a loved one. They lead the Rosary at the wake and provide food for the family on the day of the funeral.

Hospitality:
A committee who focuses upon welcoming families to Immaculate Conception Parish. They help new parishioners by involving them in parish life.

IC Youth Group:
A gathering of boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 21 who are seeking to deepen their faith in Christ, mature intellectually and grow socially. The group is under the patronage of St. John Bosco, “Friend of Youth,” who sought to win young people for Christ using Reason, Religion and Loving Kindness. The group expresses a great devotion to our Blessed Mother under the title of “Help of Christians” and the Holy Eucharist. The mission is simply to enable all young people to grow in holiness.

Boy Scouts:
An organization for boys who works to develop well-rounded young men. Pack and Troup 394 encompass the levels of Tiger Cub Scouts, Cub Scouts, Webelos and Boy Scouts. The Scouts are open to boys in the First Grade thru High School.

Girl Scouts:
An organization for girls who inspires them to the highest ideals. The girls try new things without facing social pressures to conform to stereotypes. They interact with positive female models and routinely see women in positions of responsibility. In Scouting, girls learn in their formative years that they can do and be anything they choose to be. At ICS there are three of the five program levels: Daisy Girl Scout Troop #1108 (ages 5-6 or kindergarten and grade 1) Brownie Girl Scout Troop #997 (ages 6-8 or grades 1-3) and Junior Girl Scout Troop #991 (ages 8-11 or grades 4-6.) Scouting is open to all girls (ages 5-17) who accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
